How to Install dmedia software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

dmedia software package provides Distributed media library (transitional package), you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install dmedia 

dmedia is installed in your system.

Make ensure the dmedia package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dmedia *

You will get with dmedia package name, version, architecture and description in a table
